Judeth De mott
About Me: Live Theater: Create fleshed-out people in musicals and drama, from leading lady to character roles. Joe Franklin said that I had a "great stage presence" when he saw me in a play last year. Body microphone not needed, but use easily. Classically trained, but can be very natural inside a character. Flexible in voice modulation and body acting for medium used. Acting Range - Age 39-49 generally. Northern European extraction. Poised, or not. Very comfortable in period dress/demeanor and modern business suits (15+ years as corporate officer). Forte is strong women, but range is wide. Very good at incorporating accents into the soul of a character. Variety of accents. Widely traveled and have liberal arts degree from Fordham University. Also sing in four languages. Have a NYS drivers license and current U.S. passport. Member of AFTRA. Member of T.R.U. Film & V/T: Flexible; can make work smaller for close-up work, as needed for film. Voice: Mezzo-Soprano, dramatic in opera but tone down for Broadway. Range is from easy E below middle C to easy high G Sharp. Do sing 3 octaves (have performed to high B flat). Voiceover work: Would like to pursue more of this. Good at cold reading in general. Range of voices and moods, characters... Solid, modulated voice is very good for documentary work. But, I love to do silly voices too. Professional, poised, punctual, available daytime, and ready to work.
